What we create is who we are.
Andrew is a Fine Art Impressionistic Landscape Photographer based in the North West of England.
In 2019 he finished his Photography BA Hons where he discovered his passion for Fine Art & Impressionism in his image creations.
He likes to travel to different places to create his images, either to the coastlines or to the mountain tops of Cumbria, His favourite subject matter is nature, a particular favourite time of the day for Andrew to be creating his images is dusk. Near to Andrew is 'Ainsdale Pinewoods' and the beautiful 'Sefton Coastline' for which stretches for over 22 miles, just up north from him is the Lake District, a lot of his work is created in these environments, and because he loves these locations so much his connection and relationship is very deep with them and his craft.
Andrew is certainly not a fair weather person so any conditions are great for him to get out in, he particularly enjoys moody skies especially whilst out on Sefton's Coastline, sometimes the rougher the conditions better for some dramatic creations. Andrew will sometimes use objects, for instance Southport's famous pier and he has created work featuring the numerous shipwrecks on Sefton's Coastline which provide historical interest, visual appeal and fascination.
The concept of his work is time and motion captured, this is achieved by a technique called Intentional Camera Movement which is a unique approach. Some of Andrew's work recently has been exhibited in the L20 and the Open Eye Gallery.
